  1. Where are your scarves made?
    Our scarves are made in factories in Toronto, Canada.
  2. Can I buy your products at any physical retail stores?
    At this time, our scarves are only available online at www.freendkat.com.
  3. What does OEKO-TEX 100 certified mean?
    Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX 100 certified. This means the fabrics have been tested for several hundred harmful chemicals at all stages in its manufacturing process in accordance with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. 
    STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a globally standardized, widely known quality mark for fabrics tested for harmful substances.
  4. What is TENCEL™ Lyocell and how is it beneficial for sensitive skin? TENCEL™ Lyocell is a plant-based fiber derived from sustainable wood sources and uses a eco-friendly process over 99% of the low toxicity solvents used are recovered and recycled.
    TENCEL™ Lyocell is found to be one of the best fabrics to reduce itching and improve comfort for those with sensitive skin.  It provides fabrics with a breathable smooth surface area which enables long lasting comfort and softness.  TENCEL™ Lyocell’s natural moisture management properties provides an environment unfavorable for bacterial growth.
  5. What is GOTS certified organic cotton?
    Regular cotton may contain chemical residues that can cause skin irritations.  Hence, Freend Kat scarves use only GOTS certified organic cotton.
    GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the international standard to certify that organic cotton is grown without the use of GMO seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides. In addition, it ensures that the cotton conversion process adheres to a strict set of environmental, social and labor criterias.
  6. Where does Freend Kat ship to?
    We currently have posted rates at the checkout to Canada, USA, UK, Australia, Hong Kong and South Korea. If your country is not listed and you are considering to make a purchase, email us at info@freendkat.com.
  7. Can I amend or cancel an order?
    Yes, e-mail us as soon as possible at info@freendkat.com. Unfortunately, we cannot change an order once it has left our facility.
  8. Help - I just bought a scarf but want a different color instead

  9. What is your return policy?

  10. How do I take good care of my Freend Kat scarf?
    Freend Kat scarves are machine washable using the gentle-cycle with cold water.  Do not bleach.  Tumble Dry on low heat).  If you need to iron the scarf, please use low heat.  Wash and dry with like colors. We recommend washing the scarf in a mesh laundry wash bag.
